How does Greenville Senior Advisor source its facts?
Every regulatory statement cites Regulation 60-84 or the South Carolina statute or agency page it comes from; cost figures come from CareScout's 2025 South Carolina release; OSS figures from SCDHHS's January 2026 bulletin; waiver figures from SCDHHS's July 2026 waiver chart; population figures from Census Bureau Vintage 2025 estimates; and VA figures from VA rate tables.

What will Greenville Senior Advisor not publish?
We do not publish figures we cannot trace to a primary source, facility details that are not in the state's or CMS's data, reviews, testimonials, or ratings of our own.
- A Greenville or Upstate price median: the 2025 CareScout release for South Carolina is statewide.
- Any memory care price median, because none is surveyed.
- A score or rank for any CRCF; DPH does not rate them, CMS does not cover them, and inventing one would mislead.
- Amenities, prices or claims copied from operators' websites or brochures.
How often is the directory updated?
The directory is regenerated from DPH's Find a Facility data (currently as of October 31, 2026), DPH's monthly enforcement reports (through September 2026) and CMS's Provider Information dataset (data as of October 1, 2026) whenever the fetch script is rerun.
Each listing page shows its source and data date. Page dates in our sitemap change only when a page's content actually changes.
How does Greenville Senior Advisor handle CMS star ratings and state enforcement records?
We show CMS's ratings exactly as CMS publishes them, labelled as CMS ratings with the data date, only for nursing homes CMS certifies, and we summarize DPH's administrative and consent orders as the monthly reports state them, with the report month and penalty.
Comparisons on our facility pages, such as whether a home's staffing hours are above the local median or where a CRCF's bed count sits against the four-county median, are simple arithmetic on the published figures, and each one states what it is compared against.
How do I request a correction?
Email advisors@greenvillesenioradvisor.com with the page and the correction; operators may request corrections to how their license data is displayed, but the underlying data comes from DPH and CMS, so changes to it must be made with those agencies.
Tell us the page address and what looks wrong. If a reader points to a changed OSS figure or a revised section of Regulation 60-84, we confirm it against the agency's own document, update the reference page, and then update every guide that relies on it.
