What is in the Greenville-area senior care directory?

The directory lists every active license the S.C. Where does the directory's data come from?

Only from official bulk data: DPH's Find a Facility license data (as of October 31, 2026), DPH's monthly Healthcare Quality enforcement reports, and CMS's Provider Information dataset for nursing home ratings, inspections, staffing and fines; we do not use aggregator listings, operator marketing or reviews.

Every listing page carries a “Source” line with the data date. Facility pages exist for every senior-serving CRCF and every CMS-certified nursing home; agencies, adult day centers and disability residences appear as roster rows.

How do I use the listing pages?

Each listing page has a search box and filters for county, city and license type (and CMS rating for nursing homes), and every column can be sorted by clicking its heading, so you can, for example, list every CRCF in Simpsonville by licensed beds.

Why doesn't the directory show inspection dates for assisted living?

Because South Carolina does not publish CRCF inspection dates or reports in bulk; DPH inspects “as deemed appropriate” and makes reports available to the public on written request, so the directory shows license and enforcement data instead.

For nursing homes, CMS publishes inspection dates and deficiency counts, and those appear on every nursing home row and page. For a CRCF, ask the facility for its most recent DPH inspection report and plan of correction before you decide.
